How much are lucha libre tickets in Mexico City?

By Alexis Sánchez · Updated November 2026 · 3 min read

How much does a lucha libre match cost?

At CMLL box office prices for November 2026, a ticket costs from about MXN 75 to MXN 500 on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, and from about MXN 100 to MXN 800 on Friday, the most expensive night of the week. Special events cost more. The price depends on the arena, the night and how close you sit to the ring.

FridayArena MéxicoAbout MXN 100 to 800

The cheapest seats are in the balcony and the upper levels. The most expensive are the first rows of ringside, and at Arena México the central sections, in front of the orange and red sides of the ring, cost more than the side sections in the same row.

What kids pay, and where they can sit

CMLL sells a children’s ticket, MXN 50 in the ringside area and less in the upper sections, for kids under 10 who are shorter than 1.30 meters. Sunday is the Domingo Familiar, the family show, with the best promotions. For safety, minors are not allowed in rows 1, 2 and 3.

Where to buy

Tickets are sold at the arena box offices and on Ticketmaster. If you are going on your own, I recommend Ticketmaster: you choose your seat and skip the line at the box office.

When to buy

  • Friday and Saturday sell out fast. Buy well in advance; a few days before, or on the day, you will find limited options or no tickets at all.
  • Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday sell more slowly, but last-minute buying is still a gamble.
  • Special events, such as the CMLL anniversary in September and the Day of the Dead weekend, sell out long before the date. See the CMLL events calendar.

If you want good seats, plan ahead. Asking for front rows, premium or VIP seats a few days before the show rarely works, whether you go on your own or with a guide.

Going on your own, or with a host

Anyone can buy a ticket and enjoy lucha libre: the atmosphere, the colorful outfits, the acrobatics and the show itself are worth it. But it is not the same as watching with the history, the culture and the identity behind it, knowing the rules and recognizing the heroes and villains of the story.

That is what our night adds. It is not a flat guided tour: it is an evening with someone who has followed lucha libre all his life, so that when you put on the mask, you see this world through the eyes of a lifelong fan. The experience starts at MXN 1,350 per person and includes ringside seats, dinner at Taquería El Caifán, a real mask, the Metrobús ride to Arena México or a short walk to Arena Coliseo, and a bilingual host from start to finish.
