FAQ
Everything guests usually ask about the night, grouped by topic. If your question isn't here, message me on WhatsApp.
Which nights can I book?
Public nights run on Tuesday and Sunday at Arena México and on Saturday at Arena Coliseo, for up to 10 guests. Friday at Arena México is reserved for private groups of six or more.
How much does it cost?
MXN 1,350 per person on Tuesday and Sunday, MXN 1,500 on Saturday, and MXN 1,700 per person for private Friday groups (minimum six guests, from MXN 10,200 per group). Booking directly has no platform fees. Special CMLL events have their own pricing.
What's included?
A welcome session at Taquería El Caifán with two tacos or quesadillas and one drink, the trip to the arena, ringside seats for the full CMLL card, an authentic lucha libre mask and a bilingual host all night.
How do I book?
The simplest way is to message me on WhatsApp with your date and group size. You can also book instantly on our online calendar or on Airbnb.
How do I pay?
If you book directly on WhatsApp, I send you a secure card payment link in Mexican pesos, at the price you see and with no booking fees. Your bank may apply its own exchange rate or fees. If you book on our online calendar or on Airbnb, you pay there, and they may add their own platform fees and taxes.
How far ahead should I book?
As early as you can, especially for Friday and Saturday, the nights that sell out first. Tuesday and Sunday usually have more room.
Can I change my date?
Arena tickets are bought in advance and can't be refunded. Message me as soon as possible and I'll do my best to move you to another date. If your tickets were already purchased, their value is charged again for the new date. See our Cancellation Policy.
Where do we meet?
At Taquería El Caifán Alameda (Balderas 34) for Arena México nights, and at Taquería El Caifán Centro Histórico (Isabel La Católica 15) for Arena Coliseo nights. Your confirmation includes the exact pin.
How long does it last?
About four hours from the meeting time. The show itself usually runs about two hours; the CMLL sets the card, so the length changes every night.
How do we get to the arena?
To Arena México we ride the Metrobús, the city's rapid bus, a few stations and about five minutes. Arena Coliseo is a five minute walk through the historic center.
Which wrestlers will I see?
The CMLL announces each card during the week and changes it without notice, so no one can promise specific wrestlers. Every card has the same world-class roster behind it.
Do I need to speak Spanish?
No. I host in English and Spanish, explain the matches as they happen and translate the chants from the crowd.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes and shoes, because we walk. The arenas are covered but not air conditioned, so they feel like the weather outside.
Can I bring a camera?
Phones only. Photos and short videos from your phone are welcome. No other cameras are allowed in the arena, including action cameras.
Can I buy food and drinks inside?
Yes. Vendors come to your seat and there are stands in the halls. Bring some cash. To pay by card, use the fixed stands or the lobby, or ask the vendor in your section to bring a card terminal.
How do I get back to my hotel?
After the show I walk the group to a quieter pickup point near the arena and wait until everyone is on their way. Transport from the arena to your hotel isn't included.
Is it safe?
Yes. I'm with the group from the taquería to the end of the night, the route is the one local fans use, and after the show I walk everyone to a quiet pickup point and wait until you're on your way.
Is the neighborhood around Arena México safe?
Yes, before and after the shows, especially around the restaurants and food spots next to the arena, like Estación ATM, Restaurante Axcan and Birriería El Rancho at the corner of Dr. Lucio and Dr. Lavista, and those on Dr. Carmona y Valle. If you go on your own, request your Uber from the door of the place where you are. Avoid wandering deeper into the neighborhood; if you want to walk, head to Avenida Cuauhtémoc, which connects with Roma Norte, an area considered safe at any hour. As in any big city, keep an eye on your belongings and stay alert.
Can I bring kids?
Yes, lucha libre is a family tradition in Mexico. Sunday's Domingo Familiar is the best night for younger guests: it starts at 5:00 PM and ends early.
What do kids get?
Their own mask, and water or soda at the taquería.
Is the show too intense for children?
No. Lucha libre is spectacular, not violent, so it's entertaining for the whole family, from the youngest guests to lifelong fans of Mexican wrestling.
Is the experience wheelchair accessible?
Arena México has a wheelchair area and the Metrobús is accessible. Tell me about any mobility needs when you book and I'll plan the route and seating.
Is there a lot of walking?
Some. Expect short walks between the taquería, the station and the arena, and a few blocks through the historic center on Arena Coliseo nights.
Can I book a private night?
Yes. Private nights run on Fridays for groups of six or more, at MXN 1,700 per person (from MXN 10,200 per group). Other days are quoted on request.
Can you host a large group?
Yes. We've hosted groups of forty. Send your date and group size and I'll reply with a proposal, usually within 24 hours.
Can I book for a special CMLL event?
Yes. Special events have their own pricing and limited seats. See the CMLL calendar or message me.
