First venue
Taquería El Caifán
After we meet in front of Taquería El Caifán, we’ll enjoy our first drink and taste two tacos or quesadillas while talking about the history, rules, and context of Lucha Libre.
Two tacos or quesadillas and one drink are included in the experience. Any additional items are at your own expense.
At the right moment, we’ll head to the Hidalgo Station of the Metrobús system and travel a couple of stops to reach the arena. The cost of the ride is included.
Welcome to Arena Coliseo
After our first round of beers, we’ll head to Arena Coliseo using the Metrobús. On the way, we may take a quick look at the market outside the arena, where you’ll see masks, shirts, capes, and other colorful Lucha Libre merchandise.
If you’d like to buy something, just let me know and I’ll help you get a fair price.
After that, we’ll enter the arena, find our seats, and make sure you have everything you need before the show begins.
Frequently Asked Questions
We meet at Taquería El Caifán Alameda (Balderas 34) in Mexico City’s Historic Center. Please arrive on time so we can start the experience together.
Please arrive on time at the scheduled start time. We recommend arriving 10 to 15 minutes early to avoid delays.
The experience includes:
- Two tacos or quesadillas per person
- One drink per person (beer, water or soda)
- Transportation by Metrobús
- Ringside seats at the Lucha Libre show
- One Lucha Libre mask as a souvenir
- A local host guiding the experience
Although the distance between the meeting point and the arena is short and walkable, all of our experiences use Metrobús as the default method of transportation.
This allows us to arrive efficiently, avoid traffic, and experience a small part of everyday mobility culture in Mexico City.
Walking to the arena may occur only in the following situations:
- Private groups that specifically request to walk instead of using Metrobús.
- Situations outside the experience’s control, such as temporary closures of Metro or Metrobús stations due to
marches, demonstrations, public events, or decisions by Mexico City authorities.
In these cases, the route and timing will be adjusted to ensure a safe and smooth arrival at the arena.
Please note that these situations are beyond the control of the guide, Lucha Mexico Experience, and the platforms where the experience is offered.
The full experience lasts approximately 4 hours.
Seats are always located in the ringside area, offering a close view of the action. Exact seat location may vary depending on availability and the type of event.
Yes, the experience is family friendly.
